Some of the 7th fl slab is now built with the wall forms moved. The remaining 7th fl slab should be finishing up this week.

It should be noted that Tower B is currently in for permit according to the City's Property Inquiry system.

I noticed they had excavated the west side of the pit in preparation for the west tower. I would suspect they focus on the east tower before moving to the west tower construction next year.

Man are they ever moving slowly on this. Looking back through this thread, it sure seems like a slower pace than other buildings recently.

They are slow even for Form and Pour concrete technique. To contrast with what Tricar has been doing on their towers which is using factory made precast concrete sections for walls and floor slabs.

Precast concrete has a major speed advantage over form and pour concrete.

Ryse is pretty new. He broke off from doing, I think, Old Oak properties. So it's like a new thing for all parties except for maybe the engineers. York, Ryse, Zedd. Well, especially for York. Zedd, according to their website, as s.h.y architecture, has high rises, but they are in Hamilton Bermuda. But, it's not like the Architect picks the structural system. In fact, I doubt it was the structural engineer either. I am sure it was Ryse and York, going by what the old guys like Drowlo, Old Oak, and the like do - Hambro.

The 9th floor nearly finished as the forms have now started being moved up to 10th. Basically now on a 2 floors per month pace which should see them done the 12th floor by end of Oct. 15th floor by end of Dec (due to holiday break). And topping out in Feb with mechanical penthouse in March.

Attention should then move to west tower side and completing the underground parking levels and working their way up from there.

They have started the foundation work on the west tower finally. Two levels of underground parking to get to ground level on the west tower.

Good progress on 15th floor walls. Windows now installed upto 4th floor. L2 parking level under west tower now has most of the walls poured. Not sure if East tower is slated to be the 17th storey one or 16 storey. Either way it will be topped out by Feb and the concrete crews will focus all their attention on west tower at that point.
