The forum won't let you capitalize every letter.

Wow! Booming, window-rattling distorted bass wafting up from the stoplight out front....How very, very unusual!

I don't have a doorbell, and I live 20 steps up from my door, so I have a note telling visitors to knock hard or I won't know they're their.

The bass from passing cars tricks me all the time.

Newfoundlanders substitute all normal forms of communication with honking.

This one douche in the green Fiesta will get an egg on the windshield one day. Every weekday at 8:30am he's laying on the horn at the neighbour's house. This morning it was 5 solid seconds; count that in your head, it's a long time for a horn (and that was just one of several honks). I really wish there was a fine for excessive honking in this city. I've never seen anything like it anywhere else in the country.

Hahah. Almost everywhere I've lived since college there's been a weekday morning honker. Almost the same hOnk pattern too. Honk honk- honk- honk honk. Finally I don't have that, just a super noisy alley trash truck once a week.

I can't believe people still honk their arrival. When I'm getting picked up, the person driving just gives me one ring on my phone from their cellphone to let me know they're downstairs so they don't piss off my neighbors.

I always just get a text when they're leaving their place, and I'm waiting outside when they pull up.

People are obnoxious honkers here, too, so that wouldn't help. If I had a bunch of spare cash lying around, I'd buy everyone on the street doorbells.

That wouldn't work. They'd honk anyways. Disconnecting the horns might work, but I have a feeling some people would just get one something more obnoxious like a megaphone.

Took me long enough to notice my mistake. I meant "obnoxious knockers".

This one lady bangs on the neighbour's window every day, sometime for over half an hour before giving up. I'm honestly surprised people put up with it.

Phil_McAvity italicizes his douchiest points and it makes me want nothing more than to punch him in the face.

My wife has obnoxious knockers! They are a bit on the large size. She has the darndest time finding a good bra.
