Tis true. New York city is a northern suburb..just north of the Woodlands. And when we say "West side", we are referring to California.

His expression has nothing to do with religion...

New York is basically an inner ring suburb followed by Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. St. John's is exurban sprawl of H-Town. Watch out London, you're next. Won't be long before we have y'all saying "y'all".

Then maybe those other high tax places need to rethink their strategy. You don't like social conservatives imposing their values on others, don't impose yours on me.

Good thing the state didn't split into three. "North Cali" , "South Cali" and just "California".

Surely would complicate things as LA is actually in California and NOT in South Cali! Bakersfield would actually be South Cali and Fresno.

I guess to add onto Texas, its appealing for the rebels. For those that want a separate nation! Seceding for some is a goal.

I'm not sure even one GOP senator could be elected out of those three states.

Only North CA or So Cal has a chance in the dark. California forget about it with LA in it.

Its all a pipe dream anyway like tejas leaving our great Union.

"What makes Texas so appealing?" Short answer: Nothing.

This division really makes no sense.

There's a perfectly straight line cutting California in two already from the Pacific Ocean to Nevada. The counties of San Luis Obispo, Kern and San Bernardino would be the northernmost counties on the South side. On the North side you'd have Monterey, Kings, Tulare, and Inyo.

Seems to me it would be a more logical way of dividing the state than having Orange County in the same state as Fresno but not in the same state as Los Angeles.
