Downtown skyscraper plans and Victory Park office campus will lure businesses to center city

The developer is also designing an 8-acre, multi-building office campus in Victory Park that would line the east side of Stemmons Freeway next to the DART rail station.

“We think the young urban professionals here are obviously a big draw the downtown area has over a lot of the suburbs,” said Hillwood Executive Vice President Ken Reese. “We can do a building that would handle a corporation’s needs.

The Victory Park office campus Hillwood Urban is proposing would be built on a large public plaza next to the DART station.

“We can build it in multiple phases and could do more than 2 million square feet of office space,” Reese said.
