really was an ugly building; never liked the thing.

but it is a shame it isn't being replaced with something more interesting. i guess we shall see how it turns out.

As much as I lament the demo of the Landmark, the replacements actually look quite promising from a design standpoint. If the materials currently spec'd are used I think the buildings will handsome,even though the architecture is not particularly daring.

Wow, what a difference. Thanks for the updates. I was a huge fan of this building. Thought the proportions of it were very good, and something you'd never see get built today. New cladding and glazing would have made this a stunner. It always reminded me of First Canadian Place in Toronto.
