For the rest of you I should have clarified. Nothing against naming neighborhoods. Especially from a marketing perspective. The problem with this name
is this name. it sounds like a NYC-wannabe mashup! It's embarrassing. 'Midtown Village' eh! I vomit a little every time the term flows through my stream of consciousness. We can do better than that. In the meantime I (personally) boycott any business that adopts the name. And I spend most my Center City time in The Gayborhood. So this means I cut out a lot. Just added Snap Kitchen and The Independent Hotel to the list recently.
Justin7, this is exactly the equation I want to use. I feel pride in my soul not giving money to businesses I don't agree with. I think the term is 'wallet protest'?
