It will be interesting to see what happens if another building eventually rises from this staging area, or if it will become some sort of courtyard.

Very nice. Soon the area will be humming with construction, eventually rivaling even the WTC.

It looks exactly like all the other ugly brick apartments in the area, but at least it hides that slanted building more.

Foundation work is ongoing not a half a block away for another tower (next to OHM), and across the street for the coach tower. This is a busy spot.

^ well that obs platform is nothing new under the sun architecturally sure it is something new for nyc and will be fun and a draw.

They're not pouring for Coach, they're pouring for 500 West 30th. Related has said Coach will break ground this month though. Good update though.

Actually, it's weird seeing a crane with a straight arm like that in NYC. Usually there's not enough room for that type of crane arm assembly. They almost always go with the pivot arms that jut up diagonally.

great pictures, this is going up fairly quick. Just across the street the Coach tower is under works also .
