People have been telling us we've lucked out on weather everywhere we've gone so far, I just hope that continues. My friend's been wearing shorts since Paris, and I'm about ready to here in Rotterdam.

So when is it time for Copenhagen? It looks like the nice weather will continue at least until Tuesday (that's as far as the prognosis I'm looking at goes). Not sure what's going on with the weather right now, but I ain't complaining, that's for sure.

FREKI is your man when it comes to tips on where to do sightseeing and so on (since he has probably photographer every single building in all of Greater CPH ), but I might be able to help if you're going out partying or so (hell, it'd be nice to grab a beer or something - if I'm not too busy with school work).
EDIT: I assume you're taking the "Malmö day trip" as pretty much every other overseas tourists, so in that case I'll definitely be able to help you.

In any case, let me know when you're going here. PM (I don't check this thread very often).

Loving it so far, I went over to Frederiksberg today, and apparently walked by staff's school. I took the metro there and walked back along the water to Amalienborg Place (is that what it's called in English?). This morning I walked around the Citadel, since it's literally right next door.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to Malmo, then maybe those observation towers you mentioned in the late afternoon (City Hall, and the Round Tower).

I leave for Berlin the next morning, so tomorrow's my last day already.

I'm hoping to be over in Sweden between noon and 1:00, and be there for a few hours, but if I have time, I'll check those out when I get back over here.

So how is Milan generally viewed amongst Europeans? It seems everyone I talk to hates it, but after one night, it doesn't seem so bad.

It's ok for a short visit, but not a city I would necessarily want to live in. It's a bit dull and outside of the immediate city center there is also quite a lack of sights.

In case you get bored, just take a day-trip to Turin, which is far better than its reputation or to Bergamo a smaller, but quite scenic Italian city nearby.

After seeing a fair bit of the city today, I still like it. Busy as hell though.

Okay, I must thank Muppet for suggesting Lauterbrunnen. Wonderful little area, Wengen was cool as well, it's actually the largest town in the area (1300 year-round, 5000 summer, 10,000 winter), but there are no roads that go into the town.

Thanks!

Gotta keep the family up to date. Pain in the ass to upload sometimes though, some shitty internet connections in some places.

One month left today, when I get home, I'll probably just chill by the lake until fall, travel is exhausting.

I'm not making any photothreads until I get home. Right now I am only uploading to facebook, and don't want to post such low quality pictures. When I get home I'll upload them to an actual photo site, then post those ones.

I'm still enjoying myself, it's our last day in Geneva, and tomorrow we're going back to Germany (Munich this time). After that, maybe Genoa, we're not sure yet, but I think it's Nice after that.

You should do a list (if you have time) of the places you have been and two or three terms to describe your impression.

I mean like this:

Milan: busy,...,...
Lauterbrunnen: ...,....,...
Geneva: ...,...,...

And then put the terms you would use to describe them.

You sure are taking "the Grand Tour"...

Ha, I've actually got a spreadsheet started with pros and cons for each city. I guess SSPers think alike.
