MONTREAL | StanBrooke | 19 FLOORS

This one is back on track after the settlement of a dispute with the neighbor for the use of the back alley (!).

This is on Stanley, just south of Sherbrooke.

The cladding on this one should be top notch! It goes with the price range.

Love this one! I wonder if the promoters have taken notes from the latest proposals, who have heights in the 30 and 40 floor range...

That's an old one from 2009. Back in those days, 40 stories buildings were only a dream! Anyway, I don't think it can go taller due to density restrictions. As you can see on this photo, the lot is quite small. It also looks taller than in the render above.

Edit: As of the 15 of March, it is 65% sold.

I'm not even sure that the sales office is open anymore?

Only the English website is working : http://www.condosletriomphe.com/en/

On the sales office windows it says: Ouvert sur rendez-vous seulement, so no permanent staff there anymore

it's a real shame - this is a great project in a great location, began with a head start, and should have had everything going for it. instead, straight into the memory-hole.

Is it possible that it got lost in the shuffle? And, is it just possible that if this building was taller it would still be alive? I think we've reached a point where Condos in this city either have to be in a prime location (galleries sur le Canal) or just be really tall to make an impression (TOM).

Bah. Whatever.

I thought they would re-launch with a taller version. That would have made more sense, no? I mean, even if you have the penthouse, what does 60m really offer in terms of views?

There is a full-page article/advertisement in Le Devoir's Habitat section last Saturday. It's back on track for sure.

According to GDS on coolopolis, this project is now cancelled due to poor sales.

http://www.coolopolis.blogspot.ca/20...tanley-st.html

The website is dead http://www.condosletriomphe.com/

It appears the attempted re-launch from a year ago failed.
