There is also 60 Harbour St. (30 Bay Street). Last year the TPA (Toronto Port Authority) selected Oxford Properties to develop the site. So expect something big to happen here as well in the future.

Yep, prob condo and office combo of a similar size to this development. Don't look for it to happen any time soon though.

The site was originally considered for a 100 storey supertall but it was deemed unfeasible for the parties involved.

I like it, but wish Toronto's Aon tower was as tall as the one in Chicago!

True. Both would fit in nicely in the Toronto skyline. One can but dream...

Chicago's Aon Center was designed by the same architect as First Canadian Place, Edward Durell Stone.

Not to sound like a homer, but I prefer FCP to Chicago's Aon because of FCP's horizontal window treatment. It accentuates its tallness, whereas Aon's vertical window design makes it look fat (I hope I don't give it a complex). Both are beauties.

I dunno, I've always preferred the one in Chicago. Fat buildings often look more powerful in the skyline. That said, FCP could do with another 20 floors.
