W Austin is one of the most modern high-rises in Texas.

Its edges are clean and crisp.

I love the W Austin. But that's largely because I love that dark industrial gray color. I can see where it's a turnoff for a lot of people just because of the color.

Modern architecture can be a bit clownish sometimes. I'm thankful for the design of Austin's W. Except for the base it's one of our better buildings.

^ They won't build that tacky thing the way it is on the rendering, with that light blue W (that color, thrown up just like that looks like the bottom of a pool) on top of it.
It seems pretty impossible. They need somthing more subtle.
