I assume at some point the developer will officially break ground and that is when we will see the images. It seems there are no provisions requiring another CDR as long as your changes don't mess with the zoning requirements for the project. Which means developers have little incentive to NOT change a project cosmetically after CDR approval.

Has Pearl ever held groundbreakings in the past? They seem to fly quickly and aggressively under the radar - which seems to be working for them.
That giant truss under the structure really has me puzzled.
That was the steelwork that supported the balcony of the Boyd. It completely loses context in its new placement and of course wasn't visible at all during the life of the theater, but it is a beautiful piece of ironwork in its own right.

Just think of it as a restaurant developer repurposing reclaimed wood from a barn for their bar top. They just want an aesthetic statement. And in this case they already owned the reclaimed piece.
