It will however be a sad day for Toronto
Records were ment to be broken, I'm ready to pass on the torch (im a torontonian) I certainly hope I don't miss the record breaking day.

Thumbs up Burj Dubai is now the 8th tallest building in the world

As of March 7, 2007, the Burj Dubai has passed the Empire State Building to become the (unfininished) 8th tallest building in the world.

I thought BD had already passed that mark and is now the 5th tallest?

Not if you are going with the official Emaar figures.

Hmmm....weired that there are two different sources and numbers on the height. According to the thread I re-read this morning the difference was 62m at one point [198.4 ft]. That's a very big difference.

I guess no one will know for sure until it's topped out.

1247.04 feet according to my 'calculations' [if you can call them that]. A wee bit less than half height....incredible....

Festival Waterfront Centre

At the latest posts in Dubai Shopping Malls there are few more pictures from the newest retail complex - the Festival Waterfront Centre.
Sephora is the most popular attraction.
