The entire northern half of BC has been left out of this thread. From the prairie and oil country of the fort nelson region, to the red barren mountains north of Dease Lake, to BCs highest mountain and surrounding glaciers near the alaska yukon bc border. BC is even more diverse than what is shown.

The Monteregian Hills are located southeast of Montreal. This area is relatively flat with 200-500m high hills dotting the landscape. Mount Royal is the best known of these, however here are some of the others.
My breath is always taken away with the Banff/Jasper/Lake Louise shots even after spending thousands of hours in the parks and seeing countless pictures.
The Canadian Rockies are majestically unparalleled.
So I just spent the weekend up in Temagami and on the way back we drove down hwy 69 along Georgian Bay.

Killbear Park, best beach on the Bay. If you look at the back on the cliffs with the wind swept pines you'll see dozens of people waiting to jump off the cliffs.
Stanstead is a nice little town, I go there every once in a while since I'm from the Eastern Townships (I drive through Stanstead every time I go to the States) I am moving back there in 2 weeks and I can't wait. The town could easily pass for a New England town, it has the best stock of New England architecture I've seen in Quebec yet. The Stanstead College is my favorite

The building in the back in your picture is the Haskell Opera and Library, it belongs to the 2 countries and there is a line on the floor separating the building in two. The entrance is on the American side, so Stansteaders have to cross the border in order to go in. It is tolerated by the border patrol since the building also belongs to Canadians.

In a week I'll be taking the Rocky Mountaineer train from Vancouver to Calgary and should have some good shots to post here.
I was looking to do this in September, the train from Vancouver to Toronto will take to long so maybe I'll just do that stretch and fly back to T.O from Edmonton.
