I wonder if, in the history of Canada, one city has ever dominated a list of the 30 tallest buildings under construction in Canada as utterly as Toronto is right now?

I would be surprised if Toronto didn't dominate in the late 70's/early 80's. There are a ton of 20 to 30 storey apartment/condos from that time period and a handful of larger buildings and not very many in the rest of the country. Toronto may have covered 75% or more of the 30 tallest under construction at that time too.

Not technically on the list but here is the current state of the MNP Tower (1021 W Hastings) to be 143 meters.

Some pics I took today, looks like they may be nearing the completion of excavation?

Here is an update I took today of Metrotown's 2 towers on this list.

First, here is the Sovereign: (Metrotown's first tower over 150 meters, therefore its first true skyscraper)






And Metroplace, which will be 141 meters when done.
