Yep, just like the Twins before it, 1 WTC is going to be the beacon that will tell any onlooker that they are in the city that never sleeps.

They say 2013 on the PA's page, but Otie says that it would start sooner than that.

I heard from Alan that the contractor has started the hooks for the base cladding and the cladding would begin in April 2012.

I disagree. There were many pictures of the former WTC with a cemetery, maybe not this one but there were many photos with it
In the background.

With what you two are saying it would be offensive to take pictures of One World Trade Center from the Memorial which will have remains entombed down there.

Now that you mention it, would that happen to be the same cemetery as this?

EDIT: Assuming that's even the actual Manhattan skyline with CG twins and not all CG.

I disagree, it is not tasteless. I think it is a great contrast of this new modern building compared to the sort of gothic style cemetery. Also, i think when its done it will be even better because the spire will sort of be similar to that style so it would be like a new twist on something very old. And it's sort of showing that the wtc is a memorial for those who died. I hope someone takes this same picture when it's completely done, it will probably be one of my favorites.
