thx ajs, I tried at least 4 variations of coding sometime ago using the allowable codes here on SSP. No go. They must have it locked to specifics, which is understandable, they don't want posters putting up an entire web page per post. But allowing re-size using the px or width/height tags is not a big thing imo.

Sheegl walks away from CAO job
Katz thanks city's top beaurocrat for "years of service"
By: Bartley Kives
Posted: 11:01 AM | Comments: 6 | Last Modified: 11:12 AM | Updates

Phil Sheegl, Winnipeg's chief administrative officer, has resigned from the City of Winnipeg - only days before the release of a review into the fire-paramedic station replacement program.
"This morning, Executive Policy Committee accepted the resignation of Phil Sheegl," Mayor Sam Katz said in a statement. "I would like to thank him for his years of service to the municipality, and wish him well in his future endeavors."
Sheegl has been CAO since 2011. A close friend of Mayor Sam Katz, he started with the city in 2008 as director of planning, property and development.
Katz will meet with reporters at 11:15 a.m. to discuss the resignation of the city's top beaurocrat.

And it begins.

@bkives: Katz denied Sheegl was a political liability; Mayor said he would win re-election with our without Sheegl as CAO. 11:58 am on Oct 17

@bkives: Mayor Sam Katz says he doesn't know why Sheegl resigned and doesn't believe it pertains to audit coming out on Monday. 11:56 am on Oct 17

Tweets from the Twitter feed on Free Press website. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/

So Katz thinks he can still win an election, with or without Sheegl. Having Sheegl isn't your problem, Sam. It's your slimey nature that's the problem. Quite arrogant if you ask me.

We could do it. Set up a pay-pal account to jump start your campaign?

I don't want to put you on the spot but any campaign promises you'd like to see and "Implement" for the River City?

new reduce recyle program. curent system is a joke
i've got a friend yes a friend that has a managment experiance and a idea i would bring on board and put stipulation that he has X time to get some results.

bank of winnipeg.... need consultants for this one but a good example of when to hire them

end adding floride allmost imidiatly.

go visit city department heads with note pad and get 10 things they want to see happen and 10 things that bother them give them a heads up about this so as to give them time to consult their staff. here what they all think tell em what i want to see

begining the proces of abolishing a 2 teer system of zoning make green development and density a priority for the city as a whole. create tiffs and grantz and tax incentives.

get the province on board on making the perimiter highway a proper freeway find ways to chip in yes i think we should its something we all as winnipegers benefit from.

create schoolarship programs for students who can come work for the city in deparmtnets meet what they are taking during the summer or through out the year.

start a new festival at portage and main and invite the world get as many partners as possible
true north,pk sound, sam katz, the union, ultra music, memetic ect ect ect. august long weekend.........
yea we got the forks but its just not the same as standing at the heart of the city.

get the ne rapid trasit coridor started
convert brt to lrt

get a west line in planning a min.

create a art grant to maintain the cities 600 plus murals and reinstate mural fest.

add new lighting to the cities bridges.

revamp the community service system with the province.
get the wps in on this as well.
schools as well

continue the work on the water works upgrades.

Vaccines like the booster shot is really when they implant the ''chip'' in your body, remember X Files.

^ you probably need to consume fluoride in massive quantities to have it affect your bones. Not a concern for the general public. Especially since we have all been drinking fluoridated water for decades now.

Looks to me like dental fluorosis is not a health concern, but an aesthetic one. I had never heard of it before, but wikipedia taught me.

Easy to avoid fluoride if you want to. Simply move to the country.
