SAN JUAN | Projects & Construction

Hello everyone, here's a run down of some projects going on in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

San Juan Metro Construction Projects Rundown:



Current Statistics of buildings 12 stories or higher:

Under Construction:

[2] Torre del Cardenal @ 192 ft.
[3] Caribe Plaza @ 21 stories
[4] Torre Laguna @ 18 stories
[5] Torre Ponce de Leon @ 18 stories
[6] Carrion Court Ocean @ 17 stories
[7] Nacar Tower @ 16 stories (2007)
[8] Vistas de la Laguna @ 14 stories (2005/2006?) *This may have been completed by now.
[9] Regency Park @ 20 stories in Guaynabo
[10] The Tiffany @ 21 stories

Reconstruction:

Convention Sheraton looks very nice. Pretty nice so far.

I think that the building called the Puerto Rico Convention Sheraton is a hotel that will be built next to the main convention center called the Puerto Rico Convention Center or PRCC that opened up in Nov. 2005. If i'm not mistaken there are also plans to add some mixed use development/condos nearby.

How is the economic crisis affecting these buildings? I remember there were some towers in Chicago that were left unfinished.
