Tokyo Sky City Challenges

One thing would be finding the necessary 30 acres to demolish to accommodate this 3300 ft structure, also because of the necessary bedrock needed to dig into is over a mile and a half below ground, also the large amount of steel necessary for this structure to name a few.

Anyway Part 2 addresses those particular concerns.

This one addresses the unique counterweight that would have to be installed to better deal with sway, and instead of elevators with the rope system it basically has a 3D Monorail system at work.

In addition it would seem that Sky City is almost technologically feasible at this time and from an engineering stand point.
