Second floor is conference and the third floor is amenity / hotel. The hotel is also lower than the amenity floor. Without knowing the actual blue prints I'd imagine the very thick is partially to give space between the conference level and the amenity level both for noise buffering but also for the logistics of needing to run piping and support structures like HVAC through the level to accommodate the potentially high traffic.

Again the pace to me is AOK. I'm sure we'll see things accelerate by November or December.

Thanks for the update, Shift. I am amazed that they have made very little progress in two months. I understand that the podium contains a Hotel and Residential lobby and some level of complexity, but at this rate the building estimated completion date will be in 2018.

The contractors are probably just trying to shave costs by limiting the amount of crew this early on. I've seen this quite a bit and things end up being delayed because of it.

The first few floors are usually a lot more complex with the large lobbies but yes the pace is pretty slow. at least its getting built

Expect the pace to quicken ASAP.

Umm, no, but thanks for playing. I can't/won't say anything further because I don't wish to breach confidences.
