Oh, and since I am in the market for possibly a wider lens, I must ask, for you widest angle shots, what focal length are you using?
EDIT: And might you remember where this house is? It's so fantastic that I think I need to see it for myself.

Yeah, I had been meaning to get that house for a while. The other city I am familiar with (Buenos Aires) has tons of single-family Art-Deco residences, but in LA, they are incredibly rare. And, yes, this thread was, indeed, much more architecture-focused. Not that I am giving up people shots, but I had several neighborhoods and buildings in specific that I wanted to photograph while back home. The house in mention is located at the NW corner of New Hampshire and 2nd St. Lots of other, beautiful houses in the area, too.

Well, putting the location for 100 photos is a bit much, and is something I won't do. That said, if you wish to know the (general) location for a photo, or a group of photos, don't hesitate to ask.

Will you be staying a while, or are you off soon?

Back in DC for now. I was home for my winter holidays; I will probably return sometime this summer, though. I will likely be in NYC sometime in the next month or so, too. As for the iphoneagraphy: do it!

Hey, thanks! I am a big fan of 1920's Colonial and Revival style houses, something of which LA has by the (tens of) thousands. I actually grew up in a 1927 Spanish Revival house, which partially explains my fascination with the style(s).
