If you look on the webcam you can see that they have just finished the blow-thru floor. Notice the double height columns in the gap in the safety netting.

So that means 11-12 floors to go?

I love the second photo Harry! Such good framing, and it really makes the city look futuristic with how bright it is too haha

Hot damn everyone. Thank you!

I like how the top portion from many angles is going to look like a vase perched on top of a pedestal.

This building is so awesome.

It's crazy to think that if we get lucky we could see another supertall this cycle to compliment it

Then we are lucky. Next one breaks ground in a matter of weeks.

Right although it basically is, I wasn't referring to that though, but rather the other three proposals.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a height bump for this (OCS) in the future...

Also Vista still looks amazing.

But even if we don't see more 984+ footers in this cycle, we are still guaranteed a decent number of fairly tall buildings, whose respectable heights and innovative designs will still significantly transform the Chicago skyline. No doubt Vista is the most innovative among them, but several others will/would look quite unique in Chicago as well.

If a building that is 983 ft tall ever gets built in Chicago, Zapatan will have a heart attack

Will this tower have a tuned mass damper?

I figured the blow through floor may be instead of that but 432 park ave. has both for example.
