I edited my post after you posted.

I just wish the media coverage were a bit better, and people thought about issues like maybe tax rates, transit services, and the development regime in the suburbs vs. downtown. We don't see much about suburban vs. downtown development, and not much thought is directed toward the downtown when we hear about Washmill, road work in Burnside, or RIM getting payroll rebates and locating in Hammonds Plains. The Herald and others are a bit better now but for a long time they had basically constructed a very frustrating and incorrect "dying downtown" narrative combined with very shallow business coverage.

Was down there this morning. Awesome site to see a crane in that area of town.

Wish it was taller, but its a crane nevertheless.

Can't wait to see the transition to going vertical now.

Good eye, someone123. You can see it in this one also - http://www.novascotiawebcams.com/hal...me-museum.html

If the Cunard development goes ahead then we will have a minute to minute view of the progress (although daily will probably be sufficient).

The Bishop's Landing cam has a good view of the Cunard site: http://www.novascotiawebcams.com/hal...s-landing.html

It would be interesting to have a Citadel construction webcam as well.

That one is still sitting up there and is the crane from King's Wharf. This one is from the Dal building on Oxford.

Thanks! I noticed today while out and about that they have erected a second tower crane at the Joseph Howe and Dutch Village development.

Shots from the ferry:

Love the crane among the office towers. Wish it was building a skyscraper.
