Yikes that Dundas Square condo tower looks like an old commie apartment block in that picture.

It's pretty bad when as soon as a new tower goes up one wonders how long till it can get re-developed.

The moment UT posted a render of it I knew I would hate it. It seems like a place where something a little flashy even on the verge of tacky should have gone. Instead this looks like a generic )at best) condo you'd find in some suburb. And the sad thing is that north side will most likely never be blocked from view. If only the MNR building could somehow grow another 20 floors taller.

It's not a condo, it's a rental apartment tower.

I like the north side of the Massey Tower just as I like the other sides. The use of a blackish cladding which lacks balconies provides a great contrast from the other faces of the tower...and provides some interest visually. Curious about how the crown will mesh with that northern face though.

A reflection of the Calgary forum? Tracking development is secondary to everything else.

I think Vancouver House it turning out quite a bit better, the shape is just so much more interesting. Telus Sky is turning out quite well though, really excited to see it finished!
