Kinda ditto. Atleast suggest how it could be improved if you're going to just waltz in and cut the thing down.

I think he actually meant that the building in the present location is ugly - which it is.

It would be a shame to lose another piece of our built heritage.

All jokes aside, there is suddenly a ton of activity in that little 2-3 block radius. Buildings under construction and more big plans to come. Sounds good... except the part about the on/off ramps going.

Forgot to post this earlier, it's for tonight. Sorry for the short notice, it slipped my mind.

Wednesday, April 4, 2012
5 - 8 pm
Executive Hotel Vintage Park (9th Floor), 1379 Howe Street
It goes to a special session of the UDP on the 11th.

There will be a public event on the 10th
Quote:
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
SFU Harbour Centre
515 West Hastings Street 1400 Segal Room
Westbank is also presenting Yes is More at the Chan Centre on the 12th with BIG as the main guests. All 1300 seats are spoken for with a wait list approaching 300. Shows how much urbanism is a big deal in Vancouver.
