I'm really glad they took the time to go back and fix those alignment issues.

^ You never know. They wouldn't be the first to do so.

Of course, the developers/architects that I wish would take the time to read on this forum probably never have. Pretty sure Loewenberg is illiterate.

For real, the view from the planetarium is gonna be (even more) awesome with this and Vista. They'll create a whole new peak in the skyline.

Wasn't WPE supposed to start three months and 11 days ago?? They could've been done with the foundation by now

I think WPE was supposed to start 2Q, not at the beginning of the year.

Here is yet another gap which OBP will be filling in, upon completion. This is from the Riverwalk, East of Michigan.

Looks nice, although nothing exceptional.

What surprises me most about this is (a) how close the park features are to the building and (b) the apparent lack of any features to prevent/discourage use. The standard around Chicago when private developers design "public" park areas seems to be to do everything possible to discourage the public from actually using the areas - see the locked gates someone posted photos of at Exhibit as a recent example. Given that this park is on the (highly-trafficked) route between Michigan Ave and Navy Pier, there could be large numbers of people using this, or at least passing through.

So what do they do, slap up these panels loosely and then go back and tighten and seal them later when adjacent panels have been installed?
