Hopefully soon we will see some foundations being poured. I am not sure how deep they are going.

Ya thanks D-m! I'm sorry I missed out yesterday.

Shouldn't the title be changed to 707 Fifth and be moved to the under construction section now?

From the webcam looks like there is a mobile crane in the pit ready to install the crane.

I wouldn't be surprised, it's definitely close to crane time.

Is it weird that I prefer this to Telus Sky?

The last render in OP's post is what really sells me.

I don't think it's weird at all, this one has really flown under the radar..... I think because it's not that tall. IMO it's going to be a pretty amazing looking tower.

Was it this render that sold you?

I love both. We're insanely lucky to be getting either Telus Sky or 707 as they are both fantastic designs. Also, I realized this past week that this one will actually be fairly visible from the south and southwest angles of the city, so it will appear in the skyline It will also help to block out that spndrel abomination that is the Courts Tower.

It wasnt this render but the render of the base around the curvy indentation.

Lets hope the glass looks more like 1 Bloor East and less like EAP.
