Didnt realize this was so far along. Floor per week pace? Completion by late 2024/early 2025? Game changer to start moving development away from the King George cluster and bring broad scale development to whalley over the the next 5 years. Beautiful photos btw

The area around KGH/Central will have much of the change over the next 5. Gateway you're probably looking at like 10-15.

The Tien Sher development across the road isn't going to go into another phase for a few years. The development site north now has a Nigerian restaurant. Lucent did break ground recently though.

The city itself has proposed 4 towers near Gateway, but who knows how long that will take considering their Centre Block development has stagnated for so long. The other towers that are either proposed or approved in the immediate area are also all owned by "developers" with no highrise experience.

This thing is FLYING up. After the ice age it took to complete University District, it's almost shocking to me how fast this is being completed.

Agreed! Amazing to think it was at grade only a year ago. Is this the fastest we've ever seen a tower rise in this region?!

Will be interesting to see how the build quality turns out. This is 'Allure Ventures' first tower, but the guys behind it (CCI, KCM) are very well known in the industry. They do a lot of work for Westbank/Concord. They were also the GC for towers 1 & 2 at Oakridge.

Their second tower Skyliving will be entering phase 2 of sales shortly.
