As it turns out, the stalled Townline project south of Highpoint actually got final approval from council a couple weeks ago so it's still alive and we might see some action on it soon.

what project is going directly next to highline? Meridian by Townline? it was changed to a 100% rental project. The pit is deep and looks to be connected to the Highline next door, like it shares the pit with highline?

Yeah that's the one. That area is just kind of nuts right now- 5 different tower projects within a couple blocks of each other, all going up at roughly the same time

Quick and dirty map:

yellow- Highpoint (51 floors, u/c)
green- Meridian (37 floors, excavating)
purple- Jinju (42 floors, excavating)
blue- Precidia (29 floors, u/c)
red- unnamed Townline project (45 floors + 18 floors, approved)

There's also a 27 storey tower planned for 625 North Road (where the chiropractor office is shown). It's called Glitz, BC Housing and IKOR Group. And Whitgift Gardens has a six tower proposal by Concert.

Uhhh saw this on their Facebook. Looks like a lot of work is being done? Guess it's deceiving if you don't have an aerial view.

is it common for two separate projects to share a pit? they are now working on putting up a wall dividing the two projects.

Didn’t know this has it’s own threat. Too, these on June 4th. Seems like one is much deeper then another one.

It is possible I made a mistake with some tags. Burquitlam is really busy and probable deserves its own thread.
Perry positive that red- unnamed Townline project (45 floors + 18 floors) was under excavations process, but not much going on.

Highpoint the other day, currently pouring podium level (rental units). The typical floor plate for the tower component will start Mid-June

Precidia, we top off in July, currently pouring level 15, this tower is smooth sailing and progressing at a floor a week, its a lot of fun working on this project.

Riding on the skytrain, Highpoint feels extremely close to the skytrain. I'm not against the project but I'm honestly surprised the city didn't ask them to set the building back a few metres.
