I would often overlook Tampa but the street shots you've presented are really intriguing. Great job

by West Main and North Albany. those streets, and North Armenia and North Howard have tons of potential.

Ybor City at night looks absolutely magical. This could easily be one of Florida's great urban neighborhoods (architecturally, it already is) if Tampa was just a bit more progressive in the planning arena. It has the bones to be a truly great place.

Great tour.

I have yet to visit Tampa but have been itching to do so for some time. Thanks for the everyday shots, LSyd; it's what you specialize in. Tampa definitely reminds me of Jacksonville in a couple of ways.

work's been brutally busy, so it's hard to find time to get out (often work related) and to go through pics.

the irony is that the robert e. lee school is now in what seems to be a "hood."

Wow, Tampa is a lot more urban than I ever though it was, it actually looks pretty sweet, like I wouldnt mind living there.

Very nice! That was quite a comprehensive view of Tampa... I don't think I have seen it in such detail. I love the nighttime pictures.

Great shots of Tampa. I especially like the focus on West Tampa, Tampa Heights and Ybor north of I-4. There is a ton of potential in those old neighborhoods.

you paint a nice picture, syd-ro. i don't especially have a desire to get back to tampa, but say if the phillies played the rays in the world series again, i'd give it another shot based on this series. and i would definitely check out a cigar shop in ybor city. seems tailor made for a good smoke.
