From yesterday,
The photos are very blurry, so i'll keep em small!... The limitations of point and shoot cameras = blurry photos at night.

Loving how tall it is now, and to think that it's got a little ways to go still...

That may be, but compared to the 9 other buildings in Canada currently over 700ft tall its more detailed than at least half of them (imo)

700+ft's with more a detailed design;
-Scotia
-Trump(flawed execution)
-The Bow
-TD Canada Trust

700+ft's with a less interesting design;
-FCP
-Commerce Court
-TD Tower
-Bay-Adelaide
-Suncor

From the west Shangrila is basically blocking Bay Adelaide. It's almost as if the skyline gains nothing from it's placement here. Still from the north and south it's making it's impact. And is visible from many nooks and crannys around town.

Sweet update. Probably the highest quality glass in the city. The battle between this and Four Seasons for best new skyscraper remains fierce.

I know you're not supposed to judge a building until it's complete but, this tower is kinda Boeing. I prefer the one in Vancouver. At least from north view. This tower just seems very "safe"
