Not sure, there is a lot of bulk merchandise being sent out and received from the md young terminal and it has increased a lot in the last few years. With Energy east dead, maybe it put the Chaleur terminal project back on track and it will create jobs on the docks.

ECS only has a trailer up here for office so maybe they are putting something more permanent since the increase in activity might justify so.

I’ll go snoop around this week.

Possible. Seems to be a few different type positions, but as you say maybe just more permanent for current jobs. Chaleur Terminals project has been quiet lately. Nothing going on at their land either. I see their web site was down, but come back on line last week. It needs work though. Would be nice to see more business at the port. Something that uses rail as well.

The phone used to be rigning off the hook, then Bennett happened, they then spoke about radioactive waiste, people put up barricades, the phone stopped rigning.

There is acres and acres of land available for development, installation are there, practically no wait time other than the tides to load and off load, about 100 ships a year, thats two ship a week.

This area of the province could become an industrial power house, but road and rail investments would be required in order to make it happen.

Anyone knows whats being built next to Shoppers in Douglastown area of Miramichi? The building is pretty advanced, look like a restaurant type building judging from the exhaust vent already installed.

There is a 11 000 sf unit that has been recently rented in the back of Chaussures Mcgraw, that unit has no front access, no word so far on who.

More colour

Viking pizza and mediterranean cuisine has opened yesterday

13 barrels brewing process, walls are going up, would be tall enought to have two floors

And the lot dowtown at the corner of king and main, there is a plan for a 3 story building there but the footprint of the demolished building is quite small, they tore up the little park so wonder if it will also include that lot.

Also looks like things will move for the Petro-Canada on the old mill site in Bathurst. A Dieppe company is looking for sub-contractors to build the gas/Second Cup/convenience store/restaurant/ car wash unit.

Construction is to start next month

Might happen sooner than we taught, possibility of an iron facility in Belledune, would also create a by product gas that could aliment the nb power plant with something else than coal passed 2030. Shovels in the ground in 2019 if all goes well! 1000 construction job and 200 full time jobs once running.
