If it makes the sensitive Canucks fans feel any better, at least we can all agree that 2-12-2 is right about where the Leaves should be playing at this point in the season.

But this was sooooo the year!

Actually, near as I can tell plenty of "your idiots" live close enough to downtown Vancouver to make it there on the Skytrain 20 minutes after a game 7 shutout.

I'm going to miss the hijinks this year. I just don't see the Canucks repeating their "success".

I'm starting to get the feeling that Oilers might not make the playoffs again this year.

Yes, some of our idiots live in the suburbs of vcvr. Most of the rioters do not live in vancouver proper. And i never said Alberta was a bunch of hicks, but the countrys rednecks are attracted to Albertas high paying trades jobs

EVERYONE is attracted to our high paying jobs.

What the hell does this have to do with hockey btw?

It means the Flames keep selling out high-priced tickets even though the team has sucked horribly for years.

If Andrei Markov and Sami Salo collide, what's the over/under of broken bones in the resulting collision?

I'm putting it at 7.

I'll say under...

If it's knee on knee, Markov will end up with a torn ACL/MCL again.
If it's not knee on knee, Salo might be the only one injured.

Markov has had serious problems with his right knee but otherwise he isn't injury prone the same way Salo is.

Markov did play 186 consecutive games from 2007-2009 before the problems started.
Salo has unfortunately never played more than 79 games in a season.

5 minutes into the game, Boston is down 3-0 to Tampa.

Only Edmonton, Tampa and Minnesota have allowed more goal in their last 31 games than the Bruins.

Make that 2-13-2. Ah, how quiet Leaf nation has become.

Bit of a bizarre game for the Flames, but 2 pts is 2 pts. The Phaneuf leftovers (or sloppy seconds, if you will) are finally producing - just in time to ditch through free agency.

the team would actually be better without phaneuf and the 70% of the defence. It'd probably also do better with Anthropolous at the healm.

Need another big night from Pacioretty and Cole vs Ottawa. I made it to the SSP playoffs as the 6th (and last seed) mainly because I destroyed Bullshites, who was in 6th place, 10-0 last week. Kovalchuk had 9 pts last week while Patches had 7.

My players scored 20 goals which is a record for a single week and they had 45 pts (record is 47 by Montreal Canadiens on Week 4).

That's what I call being clutch!!!

I'm only leading 5-4 vs Urban_Genious so hopefully our big line produces once again tomorrow so I can create a small gap.

BTW-I actually finished the SSP pool regular season with the most goals scored (247).

EDIT: Had I won "only" 8-2 (instead of 10-0), I would currently be the 7th seed and play consolation... damn

So much great stuff this last week.

Congratulations to Iginla for his 30th of the season. Every season it seems like this will be the year that breaks the streak, but 11 30-goal seasons in a row.

Congratulations to Stamkos on putting some more distance between himself and everyone else. 50 goals and 12 ahead of Malkin. Almost time to start engraving the Richard trophy.

Congratulations to Selanne for passing Kurri on the all-time points list to become the leading Finnish scorer ever in the NHL.

Sure did

This is going to be one of the closest playoff races in recent years, the fate for 5 teams will likely come down to the last game.

Every day I'm cheering hard for three or four teams I normally wouldn't care about. I've been cheering for Vancouver and Edmonton, to! But they've disappointed.
Edmonton, I would expect to let me down, but Vancouver has lost twice to Dallas recently, too.
