So you were in Colleville? The cemetery over there is precious, essential to fix some damn French derailed memories.

By the way, as seen in a Steven Spielberg movie, there are some cool little Jewish stars too in that cemetery. However, I don't really like Mr Spielberg's style. He's often either over gory or over-sentimental to me, which is kind of a bad taste in spite of his undeniable skills as a great Hollywood director. Oh, and he's harsh, excessively demanding to my country.

Correct. It was part of a tour that started at Memorial de Caen and along areas of strategic importance for Operation Overlord. Can't say enough about the people I encountered during the visit. An intriguing mix of welcoming and gratitude. Almost impossible to envision a time when the area was the crux of the 20th century (and beyond) narrative.
