Stassney Crossing

Not a highrise, but just a general development. I've been watching this area for the last 6+ months. It's been slow. They added a sign months ago, and have been finishing what I think is a bank. Last night I saw they are finally working on foundations for a couple more buildings.

Here is a pdf I found from Retail Solutions showing the area: http://www.retailsolutions.us/proper...eyCrossing.pdf

Yeah, I've noticed it. I'm surprised they were able to do much with that property. It's kind of a funky shape and it's very hilly (sloping eastward from I-35).

Yeah. I was wondering if they'd have problems with runoff during storms.

There's a few more projects popping up in this area. There's a housing development planned for Stassney Lane between South First and Congress on the south side. They've had the property fenced off for a while with a "coming soon" sign up. During one of the last storms we had, that entire construction fence blew over - several hundred feet of it. There's also another project planned for the property at South First and Stassney. It's another housing development that's going in that field behind the Walgreens and that church that faces South First. They're planning a new street back in there that they'll line with houses.

They have them listed on the city's FTP site. I forget which number, but they're in there.

Ladera on S IH 35 has also been going up for the past year. It's really starting to fill out.
