Thanks for the information. In that case, wouldn't the large concrete section be where the Discovery Centre will be locating? The allnovascotia.com described the new Discovery Centre location in the NSPI building as a 35,000 square foot area with high ceilings where Electropolis was previously located. It also described it as a section that wasn't being renovated. The story about the Discovery Centre in the allnovascotia.com was a few weeks ago (Oct 14 2010) - the description really sounds like the concrete section.

Discovery is moving into the big grey box - where electropolis was.

The substation is partly underground in the section along Lower Water St that is only a few feet high. The fenced in area is the roof:

I don't know whether this link has been posted. It has some pictures that I don't recall having seen.

Thanks for the link. This will be a very impressive building, especially the interior. I like the image on page 47. I am sure that there will be some NSPI staff that will not want to climb those stairs (the ones afraid of heights).

The more and more pictures I see of this building; the more I'm impressed. I hadn't realized it was LEED Platinum. First one in the maritimes; very impressive! A pretty impressive goal.

Thanks for the pictorial update. The exterior looks very impressive. Based on the renderings, the interior of this building will be jaw-dropping. I can't wait to see some interior images.

The bare concrete section will really stick out like a sore thumb. I think that this is where the Discovery Centre is going.

Still holding out hope for a condo in the empty lot across the street (i.e. between the new Hollis St. building.

How come there always seems to be a few random window panels missing from the front of the building? Are they ones that have fallen off or something?

Seconded. The outside seems to have completely stalled.

Did somebody forget to place an order?
