Will the Comcast Center have a observation deck open to the public?

There will be a restaurant in the hotel atop the building with views. Not an observation deck per se but publicly accessible.

Here is my first ever photo update! I've been a long-time viewer, but I rarely post. These pictures were taken on my personal day trip to Philly yesterday.

These photos show how large and bulky the core really is and the presence of it relative to its surrounding. Can't wait to see the steel wrap around it. Not just the height but the overall size of this building will be daunting and impressive to say the least.

Goes well with teal, black, and gold cranes also working on the building.

I think that is the teal crane with its boom facing the camera.

That's the 250 ton Kobelco crawler crane that assembled steel base and West side TG1900 tower crane. It has been moved around to East side of site to erect heavy base columns and second TG1900 which will be an internal climbing crane.

If interested in crane being assembled now check out the Ping An International Finance Centre in Shezhen under Suprtall Construction forum and go to post #338. Two collars will support static height for crane and then a third collar will be installed and by use of two climbing ladders the crane will climb itself to higher elevation. After climb the lower collar will be repositioned for next climb phase. First time in states for this method perhaps.
