You don't have to list them all, I am just curious what areas are mainly covered by your pictures, and where they are. People tend to think of miles of suburbia when they think of Phoenix and these areas are pretty nice. Also, if I ever make it out to Phoenix (I have a friend lving in the area), I want to know what areas are worth exploring.

Cool, like I said the furthest picture away from downtown was 3 miles, most (if not all) everything was north of downtown. So if you explore around an area of a half circle with a radius of 3 miles from downtown (or less in most cases), you'll find a lot of stuff like the pictures showed (plus a lot of not-so-"photogenic" stuff).

Yes, it did. i think it was actually built in the 60s or 70s or so.

Wonderful photos - you underestimate your photog. talents, PHX31. I love the angles, signs, little details. great choices; i'm so thrilled to see a few things here i've never seen, like that tiny apt bldg. Your pix visually express some of my love and pride for Phoenix. thanks for taking them and posting.
also, the Pizzeria Bianco photo w/ Mr. Bianco in the kitchen thru the window is very cool. however, that little head in the bottom left kind of startled me! is it your reflection?

Yeah. Awesome photos PHX31. I've been anticipating this thread for a while now... but it was worth the wait. Thanks for sharing.

I especially like that renovated warehouse building on the east side of 7th Street & Garfield.

heh heh... no, that's not my reflection, and I actually didn't notice that guy until I was posting this thread, even after looking at that picture several times. The guy is inside the building.

I always like to check out the history of a city, regardless of weather it's Phoenix, or even a suburb. There is always a beginning somewhere!!

Nice pics! When I've been to Phoenix I've only been downtown or out in the burbs so it was very nice to see these others areas of the city.

Wow! So many of those homes or landscapes wouldn't look out of place in LA...especially the Victorian (West Adams and Angelino Heights) and Spanish Revival homes (found all over, but especially in Mid and South LA).

Now THIS is the Phoenix we all love. Great photos, I'm glad this tread was brought back before it disappeared.
I know many people from the south and southwest probably don't notice it much but I LOVE seeing well kept old structures surrounded by palm trees. (but, I'm from the midwest and don't see that very much.)

Rockyi, we don't really notice the palm trees, but we love seeing old structures surrounded by huge green trees, of which you have an abundance.
