Eliel and Eero Saarinen's Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo Turns 75

an amazing building, both acoustically and architecturally. It must have looked shockingly modern in 1940 when it opened and it still looks fresh and timeless.

Buffalo is truly a city of great, monumental architecture and Frederick Law Olmsted's park system should be a model for all cities. Beautiful public spaces create memorable cities and increase property values.

Buffalo was really in the zone for a while. It is hard to believe how much status it has lost in the last 50 or so years. It seems to be a city with great bones. If only its economy could be revived.
