I wonder if Millennium Partners will face any backlash with this project considering what is happening with the Millennium Tower.

That "annex" was how the building was previously stabilized and retrofitted.

I'm betting they won't since it's not on bay fill and none of the buildings around it (that I know of) were built that way.
