Dying to see actual cladding. So far, I like the shape. If the cladding is nice, this will probably be Kaufman's best tower.

By Kaufman standards, this is shaping up to be a masterpiece. Maybe one of the interns designed it.

I couldn't tell either. Given the architect they could be final, but the rendering showed a building that was a lighter shade, so presumably they will be painted?

Here's a picture from Tuesday...kind of snoozeville, but I like that it breaks up the glass monotony that the two towers on either side have created (not that I'm complaining).

Wow, it's actually very nice! I'm impressed. The grey brick looks classy.
Edit: And it's ACTUAL bricks being installed individually, not panels! Wow.

It's totally out of sync with the Marriott next door, massing-wise.

As others have mentioned, this is one of Kaufman's 'best' works, though it certainly doesn't come close to being beautiful.

The cladding on this tower is pretty drab in person. I wonder if they'll paint it?

This is all-around BLECH but at least not YIKES, as most of Kaufman's work is...

I can't believe there aren't any windows where the setbacks are.

I've changed my mind. This sucks.
At least they had the decency to cover up the raw concrete sides.

[2] I also changed my mind...
I thought the coating was good, but now seeing it complete, I see I was mistaken.

The thing is, I think they did something to the coating. If the original cladding was in fact raw concrete bricks, I have to say it was more attractive than the brown-grey clad it has now.

This building would have been better if they at least painted it reddish.
