Nice, thats great news that theres actually going to be a restaurant. I can't wait till this is done, im definitely gonna eat there. Also, what kinds of companies would run a observation deck? And besides maintenance and the restaurant, what would they have to do, it seems pretty self sufficient.

For all we know it can be McDonald's as that can also be considered a restaurant.Yeah, but in all honesty I hope it's a restaurant like the one on the North Tower.

Nah, it doesn't really matter. the former South Tower had the same thing. I predicted this would happen. I even hoped for it to happen because I know for a fact that people aren't just going to visit 1 WTC to get a view of NYC. There has to be some sort of eatery. Now this project is getting good once again after the crappy west entrance redesign.

wait: so now the observation deck is going to be lowered from the 102nd floor to the 100th? That will put it around 1230-something ft, or 1240 at the most. The observation deck should be higher than any restaurants; not lower. Now it'll be 120 feet lower than Sears obs. deck and 230 ft lower than the CN Tower's Skypod...

Pathetic.

That was a pretty dumb comment. They said that the 100, 101, and 102 floor will all be observation floors. The 101 and 102 floors will have restaurants as well.

Hold on,hold on little one.As far as the project goes 100,101,and 102 are all still observation decks with the possibility for the installment of eateries or restaurants.

1) The tourist and sightseeing companies.
2) They just need to clean and maintain the deck and the restaurants and earn profits.

It doesn't really matter-all the floors have windows on them, so what if it also has food?

Remember, Top of the Wold Observation Deck had a nice snack bar in it, so the observation deck in the new tower will have at the very least something like that as well, I predict.

Truly towering now, also the small details of this tower stand out. At different times of the day, it will be striking.

Food is food. But with the number of people they are expecting to get coming through there, it makes sense to have some type of concessions.

Nice to hear they will put places to eat at the top of the Tower. It will probably be similar to the South Tower's 107th floor where they had Nathan's and Sbarro. If anything I'm sure fast food places will likely be up there because they would need to use an entire floor to do a Windows on the World type of restaurant and I rather have three observation levels than a restaurant taking up that space. If anything they can put restaurants in the concourse area.

3 floors of space, each 23 feet tall.It would be quite impossible not expect an eatery.

Anyways, even eating a poptart 102 floors in the sky with 360 degree views will be amazing. You have remember how the windows are arranged will make it even more amazing.
