Not really a random photo, but I almost got in a lot of trouble taking it.

This as taken from one of my Shanghai sweet spots. Normally, I can sneak to the roof of this office tower during the weekday undetected, but I made a poor decision this time and tried going up on the weekend. Within five minutes that security guards were there. Something like this happening isn't unusual. What was unusual was the overzealous guard downstairs that wanted to throw the book at me. I just played dumb and pretended I didn't understand what he was saying. Eventually, I was released, but I still pretty bummed out. I lost my secret spot for good!

Bummer - careers and memories are short, and all us photographers look alike.

I took this one in March when touring Philly. I showed my Philly photos to many people, and they liked them. But nobody mentioned this one. This is probably my favorite from the 100 I took. For some reason I love it. The emptyness of walking into light............

Sounds like it's time to find another building, giallo. I'm sure you won't have any trouble with that task in Shanghai.
