Big news for orlando coming this week

Going to be a huge week for Orlando with 2 BIG announcements on the development front. Both projects have the opportunity to move the urban needle for the City in a big way.

One announcement will bring high paying tech/hq jobs into the urban core and the other has the potential to bring world class architecture to another urban area of the city. Very exciting announcements.

I will post both soon.

Electronic Arts has announced that they will move their headquarters to downtown/creative village from the north suburbs. This is a big win for the urban area.

Downtown Orlando Construction Update

I would like to say sorry for taking so long to get an updated construction tour of downtown Orlando. Life has been a little crazy, as it has been for most. With that said downtown Orlando continues to move forward on numerous new projects and towers. Hope you enjoy the update video.

Thanks

Honestly, I am not sure. Work has clearly been delayed on Society.

We had to skip our annual trip to Florida last year due to Covid, but I look forward to returning and seeing what has changed.

A Tour of the Historic Bob Carr Theater

Thought some might be interesting in taking a look at the now closed historic Bob Carr Theater. It is located downtown in the Creative Village area and is planned to be updated for a new use in the future.

I will be also doing a downtown construction update video in the next week or so.

Downtown Orlando Construction Update Video 2022

Several projects have been completed since my last downtown construction video. Several more are nearing completion and some new ones have broken ground.
Creative Village continues to be a hot spot for development. With new residential mixed use projects, the Luminary Green urban park (opening this spring) and the new offices for Electronic Arts (opening in about a month).
Their are at least 2 more towers that should break ground by summer. I will add a new video once that happens.
Hope you enjoy.
