I agree with you, but this is often shared with spin, forgetting that 5/6th of people that work in Calgary do not work in the core!
If I lived in downtown, my commute distances would be similar, but because of the gridlock, odds of increased travel times would be high. I would save zero money on transportation.
That being said, I'm certainly not defending the Sun. They've really become part of the politics, and thus their credibility as a media outlet comes into question.
