You'd be amazed at at all the trees in the KC area. Yes, they're everywhere.

Nice view of Midtown!
I travel from LA to KC for business and have been walking and exploring Kansas City's neighborhoods in my free time (and when the weather allows). There are some beautiful ones -- not just Downtown and Midtown.

St. Louisan weighing in here-yuck. This looks like a strip mall with extra stories. Why the huge parking lot out front?

becuase that is the footprint of what is currently there, i read somewhere that they are looking to put a parking garage there for the apartments and the theater next door. my guess is that they ran out of funding but they still want to do it within the next few years.

This was posted by the Last Gentleman on the KCRag showing the Strata Tower in the skyline. Personally, I think it will be slightly taller. On another note, some people are saying that this will be fully leased before it opens.
