The third best skyline in this hemisphere needs a supertall (minus CN tower)

I think the height has increased, insignificantly, to 309 metres.

That's right, 308.6 metres in fact. Also, this is 85 floors now. Mods please update the thread title.

Perhaps One Yonge and Mirvish-Gehry will make minor adjustments to vie for that title. I remember the Stinson-Strumpf contest of 10+ years ago.

Good to see that Canada is finally getting a supertall highrise. It's a bit surprising to me that the city with the world's tallest free-standing structure for 34 years never had a supertall skyscraper until now. This building is *THE ONE* that we all have been waiting for!

That's true, although First Canadian Place was built in 1975 and is just 2 metres shy of supertall status, but yes it's good to see something besides the CN Tower finally breach that 300 metre barrier. There are a few more on the way, too!
