What a great project. It's amazing what a lot of planning, collaboration between building and landscape architects, and a little vision can accomplish.

What a great location to and a complete upgrade of the existing structures.

If an architect wanted to create opposition for a project this would be it. The garage for the project looks like it would sit pretty close to Avondale. Located on the 500 block of Westheimer. Most of the businesses on this strecth of Westheimer are single family home businesses and the neighborhood is one of the many that have signs in their yard to make this part of Houston a historic district.

I am liking the layout of the project WesternGulf posted. Should be a nice addition.

Also, build the Westheimer Tower!

c4smok and I are trying to make a map of some of the major developments happening in the city, and I need some help. Specifically on the TMC devlopments. With what is already on the map, are there any other projects u/c, approved, or proposed that anyone would know the intersection that they fall on. Thanks.

Isn't there a residential project slated for across Holcombe from the Life Sciences Center development? I wish I could remember the name of it, but I believe it was Shasta who posted the info earlier this year.

Legacy Maps Out $60M-Plus Plan for 334 Units
By Amy Wolff Sorter

HOUSTON-The Foster City, CA-based Legacy Partners Residential Development Inc. has closed on 3.3 acres in West Central Houston to build a 334-unit residential project. Sources familiar with the location say the development dirt alone cost nearly $13 million while the project itself could end up close to $155 per sf to build.

What a really cool idea. I wish I was better with my computer!

Here are some things I would add to your list;

1) UH Downtown Academic and Parking Building (corner of Shea St and North Main St)

2) Asia House Museum (block bounded by Austin, Southmore, Caroline, and Oakdale)

3) Methodist Hospital Research Institute (Bertner Circle just east of Main Hospital)

4) Methodist Hospital North Campus (no rendering yet but this will be HUGE...up to 700 patient beds and 1,500,000 total square feet...corner of John Freeman Blvd @ Bertner Ave)

5) Texas Children's Hospital Feigin Center (adding 8 floors for a total of 20 floors at the current Feigin Center)

6) BLVD Place (Post Oak Blvd @ San Felipe)

7) Turnberry Tower Galleria (between Hidalgo and West Alabama)

8) The Serento (2203 Dorrington)

9) The Cosmopolitan (1600 Post Oak Blvd)

10) Heart and Vascular Institute at Memorial Hermann (6411 Fannin)

11) 4203 Montrose Bldg (part of the Campanile)

12) 1111 Post Oak (new Alexan apartments)

13) Lyme Property proposal (1911 Holcombe)

14) Fairmont Museum District (4310 Dunlavy)

15) The Point on White Oak Bayou (102 Quitman)

16) Braeswood Place (3838 North Braeswood)

17) Belle Meade at River Oaks (2900 block of Westheimer)

18) The Millenium Greenway (4100 Southwest Freeway)

19) 3910 Washington (Morgan Group apts)

20) The Almeda (Almeda @ Old Spanish Trail)

21) Kirby at Old Spanish Trail (mixed-use apartments and retail)

Ok, I am guessing the Belle Meade is the site u/c at Ferndale and Westheimer. Any more details on that one? I will look closely to see if there is a rendering on site.

What is Braeswood Place?

I will also try to get the rendering for the Alexan a few blocks east of Shepherd on Westheimer.

Grayco Partners are doing the Belle Meade at River Oaks, Museum Place, and the Braeswood deal. You can find renderings for the Belle Meads and Braeswood here...look under current projects. Thanks for putting that map together. Very cool.
