Good stuff!!

Luckily Deyang (the last of old yang destroyers I believe) is preserved! I believe it was actually one of the Japan's vessel used in WWII and had since been used in ROCN.

Photo 2 looks promising for Tainan! It is estimated almost 7 million people had showed up for the lantern festival this past month in Tainan.

this housing complex looks pretty nice. but i see new developments still dont have sidewalks. how come taiwanese people don't value sidewalks? i know one issue probably is lack of space. but that can be resolved in the design. many dense cities around the world still have sidewalks.
these houses are really cute, i'd like have a such house! but it's true that the lack of pavements is a big problem in taiwanese cities...

Yasuyuki Ito/can(cealacanth and assocuates inc. Talking about forts in Tainan

Let's talk about Fort Zeelandia...
The orginal fort is in ruins. What we see today were mostly structures built in the Japanese era.

If I remember right, few years ago the Tainan government was thinking of rebuilding the whole fort. Maybe, they have disposed the plan. I hope they can rebuilt part of the fort, so we can know how some of Taiwan's residents lived 400 years ago. ...for tourism purpose mainly...

It is interesting to see the whole lagoon gone after 400 years.

Fort Zeelandia - it really doesn't look like it would be that expensive to rebuild the entire complex.
