That looks terrific! A bustling "Main Street" for Summerhill.

Re Summerhill

I saw this in the Atlanta forum. As I said there, I think this is a smart and doable plan for the redevelopment of the neighborhood.

Yeah, it looks like even this first phase is going to make a pretty big impact on Hank Aaron too:

Sounds like they are expecting this first phase to happen in 2017. So they aren't wasting any time considering they just closed on it.

As an owner of one, yeah I hear ya. It really sucks as I wanted to come back one day to it but now the view is just going to be blocked.

I hate when civic and government architecture tries to replicate classical styles. Be bold and think outside the box.

Judicial Complex

Awful building...might as well just install a huge gravel parking lot there instead.

Judicial Complex

The columns seem especially weird since they are kind of free floating on the second floor and don't actually support anything.

Debating whether or not to post the Northside and 17th Fuqua rendering here. Think it will make a lot of folks here incredibly angry.

New renderings? Post it! We're anticipating garbage, anyhow.

Everyone's expecting lots of surface parking and crappy "retail" liners just like every other big-box project they've ever done. They should change their tagline to "Bringing a taste of Johns Creek into the heart of Atlanta"

It's probably his worst iteration yet this decade. Won't even bother embedding it.

Can we petition the city to put a restraining order on Fuqua and his developments? Absolute trash of a design.

Just as Atlantic Station's Hines proposals and potentially the AMLI development are gaining ground.
